
Sofia Development Association organizes a training course for high-school teachers on Media and information literacy. The training will take place on 5th of February in SofiaLab (1, Serdika str, fl. 3rd) and it is a part of the programme of Media literacy week. Among the partners of Media Literacy Week are The Coalition for Development of Media Literacy of Bulgarian children, The Embassy of the United States in Bulgaria and The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria.

It took place yesterday the first edition of the teachers' training on Media and Information Literacy, part of the project IN-EDU - INclusive communities through media literacy and critical thinking EDUcation (Erasmus+ KA3).

Last week was a very busy one for the team of the IN-EDU project in Italy who was involved in a series of meetings with policy makers, schools and businesses. It started with the Perugia City Counsellor for Culture Leonardo Varasano, who positively welcomed the project and gave the support of the Municipality for its implementation in cooperation with the public libraries of the city represented at the meeting by Gabriele De Veris.

The first media and information literacy training under the IN EDU project took place the 1-3 October in Osijek, Croatia. This training of trainers brought together 23 participants from Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Italy and Slovenia with backgrounds in teaching, training, psychology, journalism and project management.
