In the context of unprecedented challenges and efforts of educational and information communities throughout Europe to tackle the current COVID-19 crisis, the IN-EDU project partners met virtually on April 8th and April 10th to evaluate, regroup and advance their media and information literacy activities targeting high-school students, teachers, parents and the community at large.
Under the title SCANDAL! “Students train students” on 4th of March 2020, students in 12th grade from 30th High-school “Bratya Miladinovi”, under the guidance of Mr. Tomislav Evtimov and in partnership with the club “Media and digital literacy” (under the leadership of Mrs. Iliana Borisova), conducted a training “Media literacy” for all of their students in high-school level. Earlier this month both teachers took part also in “Media literacy training for teachers”, organized by Sofia Development Association.
Last Thursday the 20th of February 2020, and today the 24th in the afternoon, Cinzia Spogli, teacher at ITET Capitini and Sylvia Liuti from FORMA.Azione have been both trainers for the IN-EDU Engagement Programme at the newly-recruited teachers training course.
It took place yesterday the first edition of the teachers' training on Media and Information Literacy, part of the project IN-EDU - INclusive communities through media literacy and critical thinking EDUcation (Erasmus+ KA3).
The training course, organized by Sofia Development Association, was the opening event of Media Literacy Days in Bulgaria. The course took place on 5th of February in SofiaLab and provided 39 teachers with both theoretical knowledge and practical assignments.
On Saturday, January 25, 2020, as part of the IN-EDU project, a one-day training for high school teachers on MEDIA LITERACY AND CRITICAL THINKING was held at the Osijek Electrical Engineering and Transport School - organized jointly by the Centre for Peace, Nonviolence and Human Rights in Osijek and the school.
